The IT-OfficeNet department offers a comprehensive range of services relating to common information and communication technologies. In addition to the technical support and operation of the heterogeneous infrastructure, the tasks performed also include planning and coordination services as well as non-technical support.

The core and basic services include, among others:

- Operation of networks and data centres (e.g. LAN & WLAN, VPN, server farm)
- Provision of server services (including storage and file servers, web servers, wiki and survey servers)
- Identity management (e.g. user accounts, certificates)
- Operation of communication platforms (e.g. VoIP, e-mail, groupware)
