The Head of Studies organises the Filmakademie's curriculum in close cooperation with the management and the various departments. We ensure that the teaching programme runs smoothly and resolve any scheduling conflicts or overlapping interests. We focus on the effective interlinking of programmes and events in order to make optimum use of the entire campus.

A particular focus is on the practice-orientated design of the degree programme, which relies heavily on the teaching principle of “learning by doing”. This enables students to apply theoretical knowledge directly in practical projects and prepare themselves optimally for the demands of the film industry. In addition, the Head of Studies is open to ideas and suggestions from students in order to tailor the course to their needs and continuously improve it.
