About FMX

Each spring, some of the best media creators and technology experts from around the world share insights and inspiration on their latest and greatest projects, pipelines, business models and initiatives in hundreds of presentations and panel discussions at FMX.

Complementing the conference, the forum offers the audience the opportunity to experience the latest innovations from industry-leading companies and start-ups in practice at the FMX marketplace. Workshops, masterclasses and company suites will provide an in-depth look at the latest developments from international companies.

The offer is rounded off by the Recruiting Hub, where the biggest and best national and international studios are looking for talent, and the School Campus, where international film and media schools present their programmes and projects.

Although FMX has developed into one of the world's largest and most important conferences for media and entertainment professionals, it remains true to its roots: we want to offer an event that brings the community together to exchange ideas. Through the unique atmosphere and socialising, we want to create opportunities for the community to network, discuss or simply chat with new and old friends.

FMX is sponsored by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism Baden-Wuerttemberg, the City of Stuttgart and the Medien- und Filmgesellschaft Baden-Wuerttemberg. It takes place in co-operation with ACM Siggraph. FMX is organised by Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, which hosts the Animation Production Days (APD), a joint venture with the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS).
