Profile

The comprehensive theoretical training includes courses from various areas such as orchestration, instrumentation, harmony and sound design. The practical side of film music is broadened through projects such as productions on digital audio workstations and ensemble and orchestral recordings.

Close collaboration with people from other creative disciplines such as writers, directors, cinematographers, producers and filmmakers is an essential part of the programme in order to ensure a practical and comprehensive film music education.

A wide range of resources are available to support students. These include:

- Three midi suites
- A large recording studio for music recordings
- Five Pro Tools suites
- A film sound mixing studio

By learning and applying the above knowledge and skills, graduates of the film music study programme are well prepared to create high-quality film music compositions and realise related projects.
