The Animation/Effects Producing course of studies at Animationsinstitut can be started after undergraduate studies in Production at Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg as well as after completing a relevant degree at another university or after relevant vocational training. The course of studies at Animationsinstitut includes training as project managers - this means that students are trained in the areas of team management, budget planning and product marketing in film and media production and put these skills to the test in various projects. Animationsinstitut attaches great importance to a holistic approach that always emphasises the people involved and their skills.

As part of their training, AEP students take on the project management of the interdisciplinary study projects at Animationsinstitut. They are responsible for the business side of production and accompany projects from the idea to marketing. Close co-operation with students from other disciplines is part of the course.

A course of studies in Animation/Effects Producing, prepares students excellently for a career as a producer in the film and media industry as well as in the games industry. After graduating, graduates work for national and international film and VFX companies as well as in gaming studios or set up their own production companies.
