US International Awards presented:

The US International Awards were presented in Los Angeles on 26 June 2024. The Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg (FABW) was honoured as ‘Film School of the Year’ and several of its promotional films received awards.

Vanessa Stachel won both the Grand Award in the Student Videos category and a Gold Award in the Online & Social Media category with her film ‘DELIVERY FOR MR FROGULA’. Further Silver Awards went to her production ‘LADY PAINMAKER’ and to ‘MARRY FAIL’ by Maxi Antonia Stumpp.

In addition to these successes at the US International Awards, the FABW came second among all film schools in the international ranking of the One Club for Creativity in New York. In the ‘Young Ones ADC’ category, the FABW even achieved 1st place.

The One Club for Creativity is a prestigious non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting excellence in advertising and design. Each year, the club presents several prestigious awards, including the One Show Awards, the ADC Awards and Creative Week. The outstanding achievements of FABW students contributed significantly to this success. The award-winning films include ‘DELIVERY FOR MR. FROGULA’, “LADY PAINMAKER”, “HENRY”, “HEIRLOOM”, “HIGHLIFE”, “MARRY FAIL”, “SPLIT SECOND”, “RUNNERS GANG” and “DANCING IN NORMS”.

The US International Awards have been honouring outstanding commercials, corporate videos and documentaries from around the world since 1967. After a break in 2020 due to the death of Chairman Lee Gluckman Jr, the awards were relaunched in 2023 with new categories and a new name.
