Open Days online and on site

In 2024, FABW will once again join the Baden-Wuerttemberg wide Open Day in online presentations and Q&As.

We will be opening our doors one week later for anyone who would like to experience the Ludwigsburg film school up close. During guided tours and various departmental events, we will provide an authentic look behind the scenes.

We look forward to welcoming you on screen and/or in person!

In order to give you a comprehensive insight into the study programmes, not only the Filmakademie and its Animationsinstitut will be opening their doors during the on-site Open Day , but also the Academy of Performing Arts (ADK).

What characterises the Ludwigsburg campus? The autonomy of the four educational institutions (there is also the postgraduate programme Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris), which organise their curricula independently, but are nevertheless closely connected with each other on various levels. Here you will not only find first-class facilities, international networking and outstanding teaching staff, but also an environment for subject-specific and interdisciplinary work at the highest level.

The Ludwigsburg campus is not only architecturally an open ensemble, but also a lively stage for artistic and personal development. Visit us and find out why our alumni regard the Ludwigsburg Campus as an important hub in their networks.

At the on-site Open Day, you can not only explore the structure of the campus, but also immerse yourself in the various degree programmes in film and media, animation and performing arts .

Whether it's admission requirements, the course of study or campus life in Ludwigsburg - lecturers, students, study coordinators and project supervisors are looking forward to answering questions and presenting their trades. The Office of Student Affairs will also be offering student counselling on topics such as applications, tuition fees and admission requirements. A certificate of attendance will be issued on request.

There is also the opportunity to get to know all three institutions on guided tours with our student guides.

The programme for the online and on-site day will be announced around four weeks in advance.
